Mazza’s performance is noted for its consistency. In the 2026 television season, viewers have expressed appreciation for the grounded nature of his acting. Unlike some characters who operate in the world of high-stakes espionage or corporate sabotage, Gio provides a window into the everyday struggles of a young person trying to make a name for themselves in an unforgiving industry.
This relatability is a deliberate choice by the production team. By placing a character like Gio in the orbit of powerful families like the Quartermaines, the show creates a contrast that keeps the audience invested.
